New Castle County, DE

New Castle County experienced a 14.7% decrease in the number of sold homes for the first month of 2024 compared to 2023 and a 2.5% increase in the median sales price from $307,450 to $315,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st month of 2024 decreased 36.9% from 2023.

 

Kent County, DE

For the 1st month of 2024, Kent County experienced a 16.1% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2023 and an 5.3% increase in the median sales price from $300,000 to $315,990. The number of homes that went under contract in the first month of 2024 decreased 21.4% from 2022.

 

Sussex County, DE

For the first month of 2024, Sussex County experienced a 5.4% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2023 and a 4.3% increase in the median sales price from $437,500 to $456,250. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st month of 2024 decreased 43.4% from 2023.

 

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County experienced no change in the number of sold homes for the first month of 2024 compared to 2023 and a 1.7% increase in the median sales price from $535,000 to $543,880. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st month of 2024 decreased 39.7% from 2023.

 

Cecil County, MD

For the 1st month of 2024, Cecil County experienced no change in the number of sold homes compared to 2023 and a 7.7% decrease in the median sales price from $352,000 to $325,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first month of 2024 decreased 9.3% from 2023.
